What is Community Supported Agriculture (CSA)?

CSA is a direct partnership between you and local farmers. By joining, you receive a share of the season’s harvest, picked at peak freshness. This model supports sustainable farming and gives you a real connection to where your food comes from.

Our Community Impact

Each season of growing and distribution strengthens our mission—supporting local producers, improving access to fresh food, and building a resilient regional food system.

Natural Farming Life supports community food access through a CalFresh-supported distribution program administered by the Southern Humboldt Community Park, where we provide fresh produce alongside other local producers throughout the growing season.

Through this partnership, approximately 50 produce boxes are distributed each week to elderly, disabled, and underserved community members in Southern Humboldt. Our role includes growing and supplying food, coordinating with program partners, and supporting distribution efforts as part of a broader regional food access initiative.

In addition to our own production, Natural Farming Life works with other regenerative farmers to help diversify offerings and ensure consistent access to a wider variety of seasonal produce.

With access to additional producers and expectations of an abundant harvest, additional food boxes may be available beyond CSA enrollment. When supply allows, individuals and families may have opportunities to purchase boxes on a weekly, biweekly, or monthly basis, depending on seasonal availability.

Availability and enrollment updates are shared with our interest list as opportunities arise.
